Cottage wall lights!?!

We need new wall lights for the living room in our 300 year old cottage. I'm so sick of bloody shabby chic! But everything else looks like a grannyish candle light too. Anyone got wall lights they love? Low ceilings so they can't be too tall. Ideally £60 or less as we need several. Please help meeeeee!

I have these not crappy chic or grannyish, but i like the think my house is an eclectic mix of modern and old in my lovely old cottage ceiling 6 foot high.

We have these. Ikea I think. They are quite unobtrusive and were also cheap.

Yes fightingfires I think shabby chic has had its day! I am so torn about what I want. We've got a kind of dark wood/william Morris thing going on so think yours might be a bit too modern but they look good on your wall and I love the poppy print on the curtains!

If you have a william morris thing, tiffiny is the way to go (i am biased i love tiffiny lights)

In the more traditional shapes, they start cheap and cheerful
