How to decorate a kitchen with distressed table and chairs

I have a kitchen/conservatory and am currently coveting a distressed table and chairs to go at one end. Trouble is, I don't know how to decorate my kitchen to accommodate them. They have been painted with a white Annie Sloan paint and upholstered with a jacquard kind of pattern black and white material.hand made one of a kind table and chairs. Will it look silly in my fairly modem kitchen?

I'm afraid not. I am still deciding whether or not to buy it and the restorer is an old man who does it in his kitchen. Didn't ask to take a photo!

You need to get a photo imo so that you can see the table and kitchen together. I've heard that an eclectic mix of styles you really love always looks great but sometimes I think that's just stylist chat...
