I have found this wallpaper in the cupboard under the stairs in my house. It is white with a pale blue pattern.
I just wondered if it has been here since the house was built, it look v old to me, but I am no expert. Any ideas?

I don't know, but I would expect wallpaper that old which has been on the wall for that long to be showing signs of age, even if it is in a cupboard. For example, the adhesive may have yellowed and possibly shown through the paper. It does look like an Art Deco pattern though.

Kojack ,
Nor am I - but it looks more 50s 60s to me.

HocusUcas,
I agree, I find it really hard to tell the difference between Art Deco and 1950s. I was hoping someone would be able to point out the obvious to explain it to me.
Wowfudge. There aren't any obvious signs of aging, ill look again the the daylight tomorrow.
