Help me decorate our downstairs toilet. please.

Hi all.

In a moment of clarity insanity i chose this flooring for pur downstairs toilet. Now i need to make it actually look good.

Ive seen silver crackle accessories toilet roll holder etc or black gloss type things but im not sure what to do now.? Any ideas?

I guess i need :

Toilet brush
Mirror
Toilet roll holder
Bin
Soap dispenser
Hand towel
.. Anything else?

Wall art of some kind

Any tips ideas or links greatly appreciated

Replace the loo seat - even white plastic will look more modern and work with the flooring better.

Go for a mirror fixed flat to the wall rather than one in a frame hung like a picture. They look smarter.

Fit a towel rail under the window and maybe a blind on the window. If you replace the splashback tiles with plain white they'll work better.

I'd just go for stainless steel bin, towel rail, loo brush, toilet toll holder. Pick one picture you really like for the wall and just keep things simple with that flooring. Maybe use a black and white towel.

That should be 'plain white plastic'

What about a shelf above the toilet?

Atiaofthejulii sorry but a carpet fitter just brought lino samples round and i picked one so not actually sure where he got it from.

Oo also walls all white?

Maybe white with grey behind the toilet?

Agree with a white loo seat and a change of mirror. A big mirror gives the impression of a bit of luxury.

I'd go for grey walls and white and chrome fittings. This kind of thing maybe?

Black walls and sparkly silver loo seat. Sequin blind and rococo mirror! Done.

Only put a shelf on the wall behind the loo if you are going to put something you have in mind on it. I wouldn't bother - it's just the loo.
