Where can I find an antique four-poster bed?

Just that really. We are lucky enough to have a big room with high ceilings that can take it, but wondering where to look. I guess the usual auction houses will have them from time to time, but wondered if anyone knew of any specialists? TIA.

Sorry I don't, but have you tried googling them? Genuine quality antiques ones are incredibly expensive for what I've seen.

Have you tried here? //www.andsotobed.co.uk Not cheap though

Thank you for that link, LadyS. Yes - finding them horrendously expensive (new and antique). May have to ditch the idea. Hmmmm

Could you find a carpenter to make one for you? It can't be that expensive. I know it wouldn't be antique, but with some stains and whatnot it could look antique.

Brilliant - Revival Beds looks hopeful and not too horrifically expensive…. Thank you!

Oh, love the link, thank you
I hope you find the right one, Falmingo.

I've got my eye on a super kingsize County Kerry from Revival Beds when our master bedroom is finally done
