Where can I find an antique four-poster bed?

Just that really. We are lucky enough to have a big room with high ceilings that can take it, but wondering where to look. I guess the usual auction houses will have them from time to time, but wondered if anyone knew of any specialists? TIA.

Sorry I don't, but have you tried googling them? Genuine quality antiques ones are incredibly expensive for what I've seen.

Have you tried here? www.andsotobed.co.uk Not cheap though Sad

Thank you for that link, LadyS. Yes - finding them horrendously expensive (new and antique). May have to ditch the idea. Hmmmm

Could you find a carpenter to make one for you? It can't be that expensive. I know it wouldn't be antique, but with some stains and whatnot it could look antique.

Try Revival Beds (www.revivalbeds.co.uk/).

Brilliant - Revival Beds looks hopeful and not too horrifically expensive…. Thank you!

I've got my eye on a super kingsize County Kerry from Revival Beds when our master bedroom is finally done Grin
