Vintage 1960s wicker headboard- sellable?

When we moved into our house all the furniture was left, most of it was beyond saving/ply wood but in one of the rooms was a lovely wicker/rattan headboard for a double bed. It's been shaped and wrapped into an elaborate and beautiful peacock tail/heart pattern.

I can't bring myself to scrap it, due to bed posts on our bed it doesn't look right and searches online show them selling on etsy for a decent amount and painted lovely colours (although this generally seems to be in the US). There are lots featured on pinterest too so obviously some people do like the look!

Anyone have any idea where might be a good place to sell such an item?

Thanks.

If there is an auction house near you it may be worth taking there for some advice.

Err... Do you have a photo? It sounds lovely. I might be interested!
