Bizarre OCD?

DearGirl · 16/01/2015 14:57

Youd think in a house this big you'd have a cleaning cupboard

MrsMarigold · 16/01/2015 14:59

you would think so - wouldn't you? Maybe the cupboards are full of books...

WUME · 16/01/2015 16:35

They need a kindle.

Moniker1 · 16/01/2015 16:40

Jeesh!!!!!

BestIsWest · 16/01/2015 16:42

I like it though. Apart from the decking. I hate decking.

PrimalLass · 16/01/2015 16:44

What a disappointing house for 1.2 million ...

What a disappointing house for 1.2 million ...

I loved it - think it's very me except for the cleaning stuff Just a shame I don't live in London or have £1.2m.

PrimalLass · 16/01/2015 16:55

Really? Zero wow factor IMO. Kitchen pokey and dark etc. It needs gutted.

LongDistanceLove · 16/01/2015 16:56

Looks like they coupon, like the the people in extreme couponing.

PinkSquash · 16/01/2015 17:02

I'd have the house. Can't believe it is that much for Crouch End. I remember when it still had shit pit prices.

They like their bulk buys, that's for sure.

Notnaice · 16/01/2015 17:07

They sure do like their books.

I was trying to work out if there are books above the sink in the bathroom.

Sparklingbrook · 16/01/2015 17:10

I thought that Long. Grin

Thurlow · 16/01/2015 17:11

Bloody hell! Shock

That is a LOT of books.

And a lot of bleach.

The mind boggles.

It could be a very nice house but it does need some work. Especially in that kitchen!

shouldnthavesaid · 16/01/2015 17:13

House for over a million and they use tesco everyday value products, who'd have thought it? Grin

I wouldn't mind getting a look at the books, went to a friend of my mums once whi had bookshelves everywhere. Had some fantastically old stuff including a midwifery textbook from 1900s. Although a lot of their books look like textbooks..

LemonDrizzleTwunt · 16/01/2015 17:19

The OCD is hilaire, but what I find most odd is that I live in a very similar house, (same period, same condition, semi, 3 floors, decent garden, nice street etc) but with 5 bedrooms. It's not in London, but if you knocked £1m off the price of that house, it would still be more expensive than mine.

The mind boggles!

LemonDrizzleTwunt · 16/01/2015 17:21

And, on a bit of a tangent...but did you see this? www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/10429749/Cannabis-farm-accidentally-photographed-in-Rightmove-estate-agent-advert.html

MrsMarigold · 16/01/2015 17:31

What was the photographer thinking - normally people dress their homes for the pics

OP posts:
MrsMarigold · 16/01/2015 17:34

maybe he was stoned.

TheDietStartsTomorrow · 16/01/2015 17:34

What a lovely house, though.

GemmaTeller · 16/01/2015 17:40

All those books are going to take some moving when they sell.

Four of everything on the bathroom shelves....

WowOoo · 16/01/2015 17:45

Well stocked with essential items. I like it.

I very nearly ran out of toilet paper for the first time ever recently. They are clearly more sensible and intelligent than me. Lovely location too.

They take pride in seeing everything neatly lined up. Putting it in a cupboard wouldn't give them an OCD buzz. Strange things to want to display, though.

ChristmasPuddin · 16/01/2015 18:04

It's a gorgeous house though. I'd happily move in this minute (though the kitchen does need work).

cosmicglittergirl · 16/01/2015 18:24

I ve seen this in the estate agents window! Surprised they don't have that stuff in a cupboard.
