Apologies for double thread - just hoping to get some feedback!

Anyone ever used a brand called excel?

I'm looking for polished chrome, ideally screwless, not flat

I've seen www.qvsdirect.com/cable-wiring/wiring-accessories/sockets-switches/excel-screwless-polished-chrome

amongst a few others, and looking for some recommendations.

The ones that I have seen on screwfix/wickes/amazon which have reviews are poor or stupidly expensive.

Juggling I have now bought online from the electrical counter. I went for nexus flat screwless polished chrome & they were very helpful on the phone. I understand that they are not the highest quality so not brass underneath, but they have a 25 year warranty & have dimmers for leds which don't buzz...so fine for my much diminished budget! They will be delivered tomorrow & I'll let you know if they look good/ what my builder thinks if you want.
Hope your build is back on track.

BTW if you want the chroma plated brass, I'm told that heritage is a very good brand.

Gozo. What were they like when they arrived?

Really lovely, quite reassuringly heavy and they do the led dimmers which don't buzz annoyingly. They are being fitted tomorrow & I think that they will look very good.
