Have bought a new house and it needs total renovation. One of the rooms is long and narrow and will be a family room and leads into kitchen. One end is a south facing bay and the end that opens into the kitchen (which has glass ceiling) faces North. I don't know what colour all the advice recommends colours and shades for south or North facing rooms. Any advice re colours for room and flow into kitchen (am thinking of blue units for kitchen but also love Howdens aubergine)
