Recommend a paint colour for a narrow dark hallway

Hi,

I have a narrow hallway in a Victorian house which is currently painted a boring but bright cream.

I particularly like f&b as the colours are to my taste.

Any recommendations welcome?

What colour floor?

I've just painted my hall and landing in Borrowed Light by F&B. It's a light blue colour but looks pale grey in certain light. Am really pleased with it and have had compliments from everyone who has seen it. It's somehow made it look bigger.
