anyone know about striped carpet runners?

We had these laid in our hall about two years ago. It cost a LOT of money. Now the stripes in a section of one of them have gone a bit wobbly. Is that to be expected or does it mean it wasn't laid properly?

we've had the same for about 5 years and they haven't gone wobbly, so nope, it doesn't sound good. Sorry!

Unlikely to be the fitting, if your carpet is a pile rather than a loop construction, this will happen to some extent or other whatever the quality,
if you post a pic I may be able to advise a bit more?

Thanks both. the company have agreed to send an inspector out to take a look so will see what they say.
