DD has bought her first house, a small traditional cottage. I was thinking of buying a décor book as an Xmas present, are any of the F&B books particularly good?

Or does anyone recommend something else?

Try some of the National Trusts books or visit the larger branches of Waterstones where they'll have larger interior design sections.

Alternatively what about a subscription to e.g. Homes and Gardens - probably more ideas for the money that way although I admit not the one big handing over present.
