Brushed cotton bedding

Not exactly decorating, I know... I went into next today and they had beautiful (pointlessly) Christmassy bedding. It was brushed cotton and was so lovely and soft. The king size was £55.

Now, I loved it but I'm not interested in having a reindeer/robin bed all year round. Does anyone know of any other shops which do lovely, plain, soft bedding like this?

I got mine from John Lewis. I love it in the winter.

BHS. Although I bought mine a few years ago.

I ordered a fleece duvet set from QVC for my dd yesterday . They have a brand called Cozee home ( I think) that gets very good reviews.

Dunelm do some

GREYCROW · 30/09/2014 16:59

Primark. I got sheets, pillowcases and a duvet set today all 100% brushed cotton.

Oh plain... mine is wintery themed but I've seen a woodland one that I really want.

I have some from John Lewis which is lovely in the winter but waaaay too hot after about February.

Futurebird · 30/09/2014 18:52

Oooh! I never think of primark. Greycrow is the woodland one from there? My son would love that.

Are they all soft and glorious. Good tip about the heat comito. I think I need it.

I am The Best Mummy in the World since I put Dunelm's teddy fur bedding onto dd's bed.
Bear in mind, she is nearly 13, so such praise is not easily given at that age, it must be good.

Was also going to add Primark. They have lovely soft grey and white Fair Isle/Scandi type patterns as well. Next payday I'm getting some!

Need! Hazzah! My son has an aversion to duvets but maybe this could help.

I bought the grey and white fair Isle pattern... The woodland one is lovely though. Yep lovely and soft.

bought the primark winter themed bedding a couple of years ago and its great. White back ground with red and blue on it. We got a couple of different patterned ones so we knew which belonged to who!

Currently snuggled up in my pricey Laura Ashley BC duvet. It's not wearing brilliantly tho which is a shame as it was £50/60 for duvet and £17 for EACH PILLOW!

I have a set from Matalan and a set from Tkmaxx. It's not cold enough for me to use them yet as they are sooo warm Smile

GREYCROW · 01/10/2014 08:01

The woodland one apparently isn't available in Ireland bah humbug.

Shock @ LA duvet and not wearing well!

Dubelm stuff is good. I love our brushed cotton sheets and pillow cases they're so cosy!

EarSlaps · 01/10/2014 20:12

I'm planning to get some brushed cotton sheets for camping, so I'm hoping to get some reduced in the sale at the end of winter. Should make our bed all snuggly.

M&S. Mine's beige tartan. It's soooo cosy.
