13 feet is 3.9634 m
10 feet is 3.048 m

13ft x 10 ft = 3.9624m x 3.048m = 12.0773952 sq metres (12.0774 ish)

The prices are per square metre (depending on how fancy your carpet is maybe £10 per sqm?), which I think is what you're asking.

Agree with Math.

Yes, you want square meters, but it is easier to convert the feet to m, and then make square meters, as you have got the individual measurements.

Carpets come 4m(13ft1) wide as standard, so if you measured 13ft then I would double check that the room is no wider than 4m. Then I would round up your 10ft to 3.2m to allow a bit for cutting.
Then for a price 3.2 x 4 = 12.8sqm
Then do 12.8 x price per sqm and that's your price
