Mine's from MultiYork, like this

It's incredibly comfy and I love it!

justmuddlingalong · 03/09/2014 22:54

We've got 2 of these. And 1 of these. They are huge, comfy and although they were expensive, they still look great after about 6 years.

BoiledPiss · 03/09/2014 23:16

Oh my! Justmuddling that sofa is amazing! Shock

Hooby, i really like the style of that one, would you reccommend multiyork?

www.sofa.com/shop/sofas/bluebell/ I'm lusting after these.

MrsMarigold · 04/09/2014 14:51

I'm a big fan of the George Smith Kilim ones but they are expensive. www.georgesmith.co.uk but we have the john lewis Lucca sofa which we got for £300 in the sale.

No longer available / not practical with mychildren / not sure of the quality with it being Tesco, but I love the look of this.

grey chesterfield

Lucked · 05/09/2014 12:14

We have this in large from multiyork. We have got amazing fabric not on the website which we picked at their Newcastle store. It's purple, red and gold.

BucktoothedGirlinLuxembourg · 05/09/2014 12:22

Classic chesterfield but without the studs. Really comfy. Very similar to this

The hide isn't as red on mine

BoiledPiss · 05/09/2014 20:15

See... Im really fancying a chesterfield, i saw two classic old ones in a saleroom last week and i fell in love with them!

How comfy are they? I always think they look less comfy as they have a lower back...

www.chesterfieldsdirect.co.uk

Kind, helpful, even offered to deliver without payment to see it it fitted in the house. Delivery men totally excellent tbh:) and the customer service / sales is amazing after talking to john lewis who dont even come close to this lot:)

Delivered, no fuss, lovely sofas and chairs, all leather and coping v well so far with the bouncing and general living:)

And- sale and discount customers - I clearly was in the price sensitive bracket and they didn't fuck me about or make me feel crap for saying so. They burst into action and that's why I'm pushing them:)

Foolishlady · 06/09/2014 00:21

Just muddling, where did you get that sofa? Looks great.

justmuddlingalong · 06/09/2014 11:26

Foolish I got it at Thompson's world of furniture in Dunfermline. It was about 6 years ago, so maybe not still stocked. It's from the Degas range. I can thoroughly recommend it.

justmuddlingalong · 06/09/2014 11:28

Tetrad Degas.

mathanxiety · 07/09/2014 00:58

LOL I was going to show you my Ikea sofa.

I wold get another Ikea tbh. Your boys are still young. Plenty of years of sofa abuse to come Grin

80sMum · 07/09/2014 10:32

I've gone for the 50s retro look. Works well for us because the room is very small and so many sofas nowadays are huge.

Foolishlady · 07/09/2014 11:34

Thanks muddling

BoiledPiss · 07/09/2014 22:13

Yeah Math, that is my thinking to be honest! I read a blog about having a white sofa with removable covers (ektorp) which is what we have now.

Because she could wash it and sun bleach it back to white, i thought that was quite wise, i have washed ours a lot, it's dark brown and it's really faded and shit looking

I have the exact sofa. The slipcovers are a godsend as I have a black cat plus teens who tend to sprawl, drink coffee, have the odd snack, while sitting on the sofa... I love being able to get the covers nice and white again. If I get tired of the white I can get another cover in a different colour or even try my hand at making one (though this might be a bit of a stretch of my sewing skills and patience with my sewing machine).

hunkydorymum · 09/09/2014 11:08

This is our sofa, it's from Delcor and I love it!

I looove this one: www.caravane.fr/?i=13&of=8&c=3&se=, Thala from caravanne, no chance of getting it though as it's really expensive. It's incredibly comfortable to seat on, all linen sleep covers are removable and washable, seats (?) can be moved to the floor for a movie night or a sleepover. Actually, that's one of my criteria at the moment: that covers can be removed.

OnePlanOnHouzz · 15/09/2014 17:49

I love this one from Tetrad ...
