How can I make a cupboard door more interesting?

We have a few cupboard doors that are just plain MDF (I think). Rather than painting them white (or another colour), does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do with them? I've seen some with stickers on them which looked quite nice but open to other ideas! Thanks

Stencil? Etsy has tons of decals.

I saw a nice chest of drawers which had different but toning wallpapers on each drawer.

Etsy has self adhesive removable wallpaper!

I was thinking about this recently for a bathroom cupboard and came up with the idea of attaching some sort of fretwork to it.

I haven't actually done this though but I'm sure it could look nice. No idea where to find reasonably priced fretwork panels though Confused so possibly a bit of a half baked suggestion from me thereBlush

I like the sound of self adhesive wallpaper so will definitely check that out. There is so much stuff on etsy it sort of scares me a bit..

Beading, and paint inside with a slightly different colour eg beautifullycontained.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/how-to-spice-up-flat-panel-door.html
