Aerobeds - yay or nay?

Hopefully I'm posting this in the most logical place?
We are looking to replace a sofa bed in our small double spare room with an alternative sleeping solution so we have more space day to day and so I can fit in a proper desk for my home office.
If you have an aerobed, would you recommend it? And which one do you have please? The raised ones look better and would probably be better for elderly relatives to get on and off but are they any comfier than the lower ones? And where's best to buy from - aerobed direct or elsewhere?
We need something comfy and durable that can accomodate single guests and couples and we tend to have someone visiting for a couple of nights every month at least.

The raised aerobeds are v good but you can get other good raised airbeds too apart from aerobed. The raised ones I bought for for elderly parents worked well for them. I used reviews on amazon as a guide.

We have a raised aerobed that I bought from Amazon. It is great, very comfy and DH and I do not roll into each other which is what normally happens on airbeds and sofa beds!

We have the normal Aerobed. Friends have used it overnight and said it was comfortable enough.
We used it ourselves when camping for the weekend and slept well on it (When we weren't awake from the rain, thunderstorm, Cockerels at 2am etc!)

We bought ours from Argos and it was reduced to about £70 as I recall.

I'm hoping to do the same thing - get rid of a very uncomfy spare double bed (slept on 1-2 times a year) and free up the space. I have been looking at this one.

Primal Lass, that is one of the one's that I have, the other is a raised Aerobed. Both equally good, but one was half the price of the other, & the aerobed was in a sale!
