I'm really struggling what colour to paint in the kitchen.
We have dark beech cupboards black mottled work tops and up stands, slate flooring which is mostly black.
Kitchen is still painted in builders cream and it's boring and bland.
Room has two big windows but isn't the lightest of rooms.
Colours we don't want are red, pale blue & yellow.
Theirs not much wall to paint but want it look wow Grin

I like duck egg blue and teal colours and it sounds like they would match?

How about pure white? Nice and clean and bright. Or if you're looking for a bright colour, maybe a light green?

Been and fetched a teal and a sage green sample pot to try.
I like duck egg blue and had that in the kitchen and my old house but found it made the room feel cold.

Lime green would work well with black/beech combo, as would a teal, or a magenta.

I thought of magenta but a little scared to use it

Personally, I think a bright colour against black and beech might look a bit brash. I'd go for something a bit like wet plaster.
