Paint the colour of a rich tea biscuit

I'm going to be re-decorating soon and want to paint my lounge and hall, stairs and landing the colour of a rich tea biscuit!

I was thinking of getting trade paint and maybe also the equivalent heavy duty endurance type paint.

Anyone know which colour to get?

Also looking for a very pale baby pink colour for my bedroom walls so would be glad of names for that.

Thanks :)

Dulux "Crispy Crumble" is quite a biscuity colour. Trade paints are better quality but a lot more expensive. Dulux Trade Diamond Matt is the toughest, I think. Be aware though that it isn't a completely flat matt. It has a very slight sheen to it.

If recommend valspar premium (£42.98 for 5litres) from B&Q..... Just take a rich tea biscuit along and they will colour match the exact shade to the biscuit! Smile

I can't recommend highly enough Dulux Natural Hessian. Gorgeous light biscuity colour. I have it on my stairs and landing with white woodwork, and it looks lovely. Someone on here said that it is the colour of Baileys...it is! Grin

String close?

I like the natural hessian and the crispy crumble. Not so sure about the string. I'll have to buy testers.

What about the pink anyone?

Try crown hint of pashmina for the bedroom.

Definitely get testers and don't just rely on the colour card. I've been searching for a silvery grey and it took me ages. My first choice which looked perfect on the card looked lilac on the walls. Another came out a sludgy looking shade of khaki. Nothing at all like the colours on the card.

Craig and Rose 'deep sung cream' is a great warm neutral, used in my last 2 houses and recommended lots to friends.

I'm currently doing roughly the same but looking for more of a tobacco colour for living room walls, I'm thinking of Craig and rose again, but Papyrus.

Also painting our bedroom pale blush pink, a Laura Ashley colour called Chalk pink.

DD's bedroom will be a coral pink called Honey Fever by Dulux.

I'm sure that dulux do an app for your phone that allows you to take photos of things and then matches the colour to one of their ranges.

Worth a try?
