Oak kitchen units with an old pine table - will it clash?

I have a solid oak freestanding kitchen from M&S. I have seen a beautiful antique old pine farmhouse style dining table which I love in a local shop which I'm planning to put with a set of ladder back chairs I'm going to paint in a high gloss baby blue. But will my different woods look ok together? I can't decide. I'm a fan if mixing old and new but its the textures of the wood which may clash? Any thoughts would be great.

I think antique wood is much more forgiving to be mixed and matched. Eg we have stripped pine floors and an oak table and that works

Matching everything....where did the idea even come from?!

Trees in the forest don't all match.

Different woods next to each other is lovely.

Uniformity is dreary!

If its an old waxed pine I think it would work quite well. If its a bit orange definitely not.

Thanks all. Def old, as in antique pine so judging by the general consensus I'm going to go for it. I looked at a couple of oak topped painted tables but thought too matching so going to go the whole hog and put mismatched chairs round it too. Cheers for opinions, helped a lot.
