The one I like is pink gingham. It's £7 per m, so not cheap.

I've used them in the past fto make curtains, they have worked well and have been very hard wearing plus minimal fading. We have them up at two large windows and hang really well due to the fabric weight, it was nice to sew as well. I was a bit worried that I would see the same fabric everywhere as you do with the furniture but think they change the patterns regularly and so far haven't seen any the same.

If the price is a bit too much could you order from somewhere else online that do a similar colour, gingham is stocked by loads of online companies.

I have used their fabric for dd's curtains. It was jut as nice to use as any other curtain fabric - john lewis/ clarke and clarke/ random internet place, I haven't washed them yet, and probably won't wash them very often if I'm honest.

If you like it go for it - £7 per meter doesn't seem too bad to me ought to stop using john lewis as a yard stick

Yes, I made curtains with some too. They've been up for 3 years and haven't faded at all. They hang really well too.

I was most put out to see that the fabric had also been used to make curtains for the Hollyoaks set though - I did mine first, honest!

Thk you...£7/m not a bad price at all. I was at an independent retailer this afternoon & their 'cheaper' fabrics start at £18-25!!! Eeeek. Needless to say the Harlequin £49/m ones were my favourite. Glad to hear the Ikea ones are decent quality as that's now definitely a likely purchase!
