What is this called and where do I get one from?!?

Hi - we're in the middle of buying our first home and after years of living in a rented home with terracotta wall stencils and floral carpets, I'm really looking forward to having my own place to decorate.

Our new home has a teeny tiny bathroom but whenever I've looked in a show home (and we've looked in a lot) they always make the bathrooms look bigger by making one wall, usually the one where the bath is, a long mirror. I quite like the idea and I've tried looking for something online but all I can find is mirrored tiles but what I'm thinking of is like one long/continuous piece of glass the size of the wall.

Any ideas????

You can get mirror cut to fit.

Don't do it! I had one of these and it was an absolute beast - very upsetting some mornings because of the unforgiving reflection and the rest of the time a real pain to clean because of the constant watermarks. If you live in a hard water area it is a real no-no.

We have a very large mirror attached to a fitted wardrobe in our current house (it was there when we moved in and we never got round to replacing it) directly opposite the bead and I've become very skilled at not catching my reflection when I'm rolling out of bed/hungover/busy with dh etc etc. I was hoping to transfer these skills across if we get a bathroom mirror!

Keeping it clean and free from watermarks might be something to consider though!

we have a huge mirror above the bath, prob 5' x 3'. local glazier cut to size, make sure to get a bevelled edge. never had any problems with watermarks or general cleaning. makes bathroom look v big

Don't do it! I used to lie in the bath terrified that the huge mirror would fall off the wall next to me. It got soap marks on the mirror after every shower. Eventually it got mildew behind the mirror and the mirror blackened. Looked hideous.
Was very happy to have a new bathroom without that mirror and it does not look smaller without the mirror. The secret is not to use borders or contrasting tiles but just have light coloured large tiles on the wall. These make the room look large.
