Tired of white painted banisters..what goes with this carpet?

Considering elephants breath, want something stylish... Am re carpeting a very weary old hall and thought while I'm at it, I'll give the whole thing a new look, more energised...

'Elephants breath' is quite dark. We went for a just off white colour instead (and I can't for the life of me remember what it was called)

That sounds lovely, neutral but crisp. I've got striped carpet on my stairs and landing and it looks really nice. Added bonus it doesn't show up dust/dirt and I'm hoovering less.

What did you get, trumpfamily?

I'm glad to hear you're pleased with yours..it feels quite a big decision to go for something distinctive, in such a large area.
