Need advice on kitchen colour

DH and I are planning a new kitchen for our extension. There is so much choice my brain is about to explode. We are both agreed on a contemporary style but I like grey and he likes champagne. He argues that grey will date but surely champagne would be the same?
Or do we just go for white. Trying to avoid the hospital look

light (yuck, imo) or dark grey (slate)?

Unless you have lots of natural light, I would always opt for whatever will make the room seem brighter.

Champagne = magnolia? TBH whatever you choose, however neutral it seems, it will date. Best to make sure you actually like it Wink

But, yes, I'd certainly go with grey over magnolia any day.

He goes for anything beigey/mocha. It does look nice in the showroom but not with the blue grey colour scheme I have my heart set on.
This is so much harder than I thought it would be Hmm

You both hvae to compromise, of course. beigey/mocha/browns can be lovely but they've had their day. Would it be fair to say he's after a fairly neutral look? blue/grey is more to my own taste but it's worlds away from 'neutral'.

What do you both like?
