Bedroom - what colours would go with aqua& turquoise walls?

I'm decorating my daughter's bedroom - she wants three walls in an aqua colour and one in a turquoise. It's looking very aqua to me, so think we need another colour to break it up. Any ideas? we'll be buying new quilt covers and curtains. It's a north facing bedroom, although, in making this comment I'd say it's fairly light.

How old is she? I'd go for a bright yellow, or soft pink if she's young, my toddlers room is pink and aqua.

Hi Startfish,

Lovely choice, I did my nursery in aqua and coral but not all three walls as it is a small space, you might want to keep one wall white and accessorise with another colour too.
Aqua/coral sounds like a clash but it is great, a slightly vintage candy colour...
Good luck...

Sand?

DD has white/sand/pale green in her room - and one patterned wall bringing all the colours together. Looks good.

I think white would work well on a wall, or for furnishings. Shades of beige and brown can also soften things a bit.

Thanks. She's nearly 13. She's away at the moment, so trying to work out what would work. I forgot, she always wants a couple of wooden cabinets painted so we can break it up with those as well. adjandjjmum, I think it's a good idea if there can be some sort of pattern somewhere bringing all colours together. We already have the paint and for which paint on which wal(!)l, but we can have a pattern in the curtains or quilt.
