What colour kitchen appliances?

Oak cupboards with black work tops. Have grey walls tiles and flooring and cream accessories and floor tiles.

I'm debating between white and silver appliances, the fridge is silver and is staying but the washing machine is white and on display, although is older so may need replacing sooner than the fridge, I'm replacing the oven hob and dishwasher.

Silver or white?

We'll, I would always go for white plastic over "silver" plastic. Actual steel or chrome is different, but I'm not a big fan of matchy stainless steel appliances. We've ended up with white fridge, washing machine and dishwasher, and a stainless steel cooker - I'm happy with that.

I think you've managed to just really put me off silver! You've now made me think of some curtain poles I bought which I thought were going to be chrome and turned out to be silver plastic. They went straight back.

White, especially for WM and DW, I think silver versions of these look dated now. Stainless steel is fine for cookers though.
