Bringing colour into living room

Hi everyone would love to bring some colour into my livingroom. It's currently painted magnolia with medium coloured wooden flooring. I have dark chocolate brown leather sofas. Those things cannot be changed.

I like vintage style. White wooden furnature. ?would love a coloured piece but don't know how it would tie in. ?bright rug or footstool. Love picking up decorative bits from eBay think east of India / gisela graham etc.

Orange as a main colour mixed with lots of other colours (eg striped rug) is lovely.

Your room sounds so neutral the world is your oyster really.

I would relish the idea of having lots of fun experimenting with multiple colours (step away from the soft furnishings Val....)

Teal? Turquoise? Lime greens? Depends on your taste.
