Kitchen disaster - colour help needed

Am kicking myself as I have got the cabinet/worktop combination seriously wrong in my new kitchen.

The cabinets are a modern matt off white colour and the tops are white and grey granite which looks like marble (Bianca eclipsia).

I loved both separately, But now it's all installed the cabinets look very cream against the work tops.

The kitchen needs to be painted a light neutral colour and I wondered if someone with a better eye than me could help me find a (preferably) pale grey-ish colour which will tone down the creaminess of the cabinets.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.

I don't know what will be Best, but keen to see the replies, when we bought our house it had 'buttermilk' kitchen cupboards landmark granite work tops. To me it looks like it looks freshening up a bit but similar to you i am stuck on colour especially with creamy cupboards.

What about able sage green? Will neutralise the cream a bit and goes with grey. Or pale pale blue?

Thank you. Will look at a sage green. I definitely don't want a blue tone.

I think that what I do want is the holy grail of a magic grey which will drain the yellow from the cabinets.

Looked at Farrow and Ball's Cornforth White which their website suggests with Strong White (about the colour of the cabinets) - anyone have any experience of them together?

Are you sure that grey won't bring out the yellow more? Our cabinets are going to be vanilla and I am a bit worried that we will have the same problem as you! We are having ivory fantasy granite worktops which I love but when I hold the sample cupboard up against the dulux mist white (which is slightly grey), the cupboard looks really yellow :-( We have just painted the kitchen dulux timeless today instead and that does seem to tone down the yellow a bit...

Crown cloudburst would be worth trying a tester pot.

Would you be able to change the doors/drawer fronts on your kitchen instead?

Also, has your flooring been installed yet?

Also, I've used Strong White and it has a definite grey undertone. Well, at least it does where I've used it.

Or what about French Gray? I've used that too and it's more on the green/light khaki side.
