Blinds - how much?!!!

I've just had a few companies round for quotes and can't believe the prices they're quoting. 400 for modern house bedroom window roman blind. Am I just out of touch? It's twice what I expected.

Try a local independent. My dh does blinds as a side business and the big companies are always about twice his quote. If you have a local paper there will probably be ads for small firms
