Struggling to choose, though have narrowed it down to either a light blue velvet or a yellow stripe.
My aim is to add some colour to a large room. Cream tiles, dark wood white walls, lots of sunlight.
I have to use laura ashley and the sofa is called Mortimer and I am happy with that choice, just not sure about the colour and covering.

This is not the exact sofa but is covered in the correct material.
Pros,Like the colour, can get a rug to match and curtains to complement. Can cover throw in the same colour to keep cleaner.Quite a safe colour in room. Good complement to room.Rest of the furniture dark wood brown.
Cons. Very safe, will I get fed up of the colour, will it look crap shortly. Quite a 'cool' colour and I am drawn to warmer spring like colours.
Or a yellow stripe one.

Cons. Prefer the blue rug. Stripes more formal, which the room can take but is not really me. Pros,Like the warmer colour. I think it will be easier to keep clean.
