Hi! Has anyone ever done glow in the dark stars? I don't know where to start! Am going to do my 2 year old a moon/ stars themed room. Am hoping to paint a rocket on the wall and a moon as he loves the moon and stars. Colours will be blue/ grey, white and a touch of bright red.
A friend has recommended glowpatch stars but the kit is pricey
Any other ideas appreciated!

I got a plastic set of glow in the dark stars from the pound shop. Put them up with blu tac ... they looked great!

We have a huge set of stars, moons and planets from The Works. It cost about £7 and has hundreds of glow in the dark shapes. They stick really well on to anything. DS1 has had his up for 4 years now and they're working really well still too.

I've seen the plastic ones that you can blu-tak up in lots of places eg. Hawkins Bazaar, WHSmith etc.

DS used to have them and loved them.

I wouldn't bother with painting your own.

You can get glow in the dark fimo (sp?) - modelling clay that you bake in the oven and it goes hard.

Could be a nice project to do with dc, roll out and cut out star shapes then stick on ceiling?

Beware the sticky ones are a nightmare to get off once you've had enough of them!!
