Painted Furniture Recommendations - Matching Grey Walls

Hi

I have painted my walls in my sitting room and hall, grey. The colours have blue undertones.

The sitting room/dining/kitchen is Dimpse from Farrow and Ball and the Hall Quartz Flint 2 from Dulux. Quartz Flint is a grey that almost looks like a light blue (albeit a grey light blue) in some light. Dimpse is more of grey (with blue undertones). Kitchen cabinetry is Manor House Grey (this is darker grey than dimpse but also with blue undertones) & the sofa is a grey grey. Floor is a washed out oak. Kitchen table also a washed oak (but with more yellow in it). All woodwork & granite are white.

Ok, so hopefully I have painted a picture for you...so here's my question, your creative help would be sincerely appreciated.

I have a number of pieces of furniture that I would like to paint to match these colour schemes. I would like to do a statement piece in a navy/ dark blue (something like Stiffkey Blue from Farrow and Ball), but I don't want all the furniture painted blue.

What colours would also go with grey (blue). White and grey (again) are obvious choices. Anything else that comes to mind???? I currently have Charlston Grey painted furniture with this (from the old colour scheme) and it just doesn't go with the new grey.

Help me please. Nesting for DC1 and want to get it sorted before I get any bigger!

Would you consider chartruese fur the statement piece and a a chalky white for the rest?

I would definitely consider lemon, but I think chartruese is probably a little out there for us.

I would say neutrals with some pops of colours is my preference. However, when I say pop, I am probably mean rather conservative pops of colour.

What a fab piece of furniture that is though, so bright!!!

Thank you for your suggestion!

if the greys are blue tones what about a colour at opposite end of colour wheel like coral/orange or muted tones of.

I hadn't thought of muted coral! I love to wear that colour, so a definite consideration! Thanks
