I have been trying to move to quite a posh little town near my city for a while now, and thanks to my family pulling some strings a very nice estate agent has accepted me even though I'm a lone parent on benefits.
I viewed the house yesterday, it's getting a new kitchen and bathroom which is awesome. The rest of the house is all white painted lining paper and brown carpets.
I'm having trouble visualising any excitement for the colours, not sure if I'm gonna be allowed to paint but I always like to pay a good few months rent before I even ask.
My sofas are a kinda goldy beige sand colour, as are my curtains, and my rug. I'm scared im going to be living in a brown box!
Any tips for decorating a rental and what kind of colours go with brown and beige!? In my current house I have pink cushions and a pink chimney breast but I'm bored of pink..
Also my son's room will need some colour..
