I've taken a liking to this quilt cover. I love the colours. I am thinking of having pale grey walls. Am I mad? Would the riot of colour keep me awake? Its a super king size bed so there'd be a big expanse of it.

No, you're not mad. Go for it. I've got lampshades in that print and it's absolutely gorgeous. I also bought this for my bedroom. I pondered over it for weeks and was a bit worried once I'd ordered it but now my bed looks naked when I alternate it with the 'safe' white duvet cover I also bought. Really love it.
And bluebellgray stuff is just beautiful so yes, go for it.

Thanks for the tip and the encouragement Georgies. I've noticed that I have gradually made my house more and more neutral over the years and I'm really starting to miss colour and pattern.

There's been a real swing towards pattern and colour recently, hasn't there? Long may it last :-)
