Where do I begin?

Am thinking to do just one orange wall and the others maybe white but no idea for other colour accessories to go with orange.

Help please!

How about a thick orange stripe all around the room horizontally. Then you could bring in a colour above and below in a thinner stripe. Blue goes with orange.

Ikea have great stuff at the moment

You could go black and white with orange.. This will grow with him too. www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/40227902/

They also have nice orange desk lamps

Argos have plain orange duvets which would allow for some imagination with accessories

leafy green looks good with orange

deep blue

what about a bold horizontal stripe all the way round rather than a whole wall?

You could paint some furniture/shelves orange if you didn't want to overwhelm the whole room.

My 7 year old DD loves tigers and asked for an orange and black room! Err, that's not happening but I thought about painting one wall with orange zig zags, I've seen some really lovely ideas on pinterest and it doesn't look that difficult to achieve a really effective look.

Turquoise looks good with orange or a dark grey could work, get lampshades, cushions in orange if he wants more of that colour (at least you can change them then!).

Teal and turquoise go with orange. As does bright red.

My living room is orange btw. I know...it sounds horrendous but it isn't. It's a baked earth/terracotta colour with three walls in cream. We have an oatmeal carpet with moroccan inspired rugs on the floor, and the ubiquitous old brown leather sofa...lots of nature inspired/wooden things to blend it all together. It's an old house and I suppose the look would best be described as rustic. I think it's lovely and we get complimented on it a lot.

Think I'd go with grey with orange. The grey will soften the orange a bit. Lovely colour, I think it'll look great.
