IKEA expedit unit help

I'm sure I'm being a real numpty with this. We have an expedit unit, half filled with cupboards, half with baskets. It doesn't sit flush against the wall because of the skirting board and sockets behind it. The kids are always pushing the baskets too far in, so they bash the cables behind and keep wrecking our aerial lead. What can I do to stop the baskets pushing through? Something that isn't going to damage the back of the unit preferably. I tried duct taping across the back but that just popped off. I'm sure there's something obvious, and I'm just being a bit dim!

I would got some metal strips, possibly the stuff to do with tiles and screw diagonally over bottom 2 corners.

put books in that section and put the baskets in another hole instead ?!
