What paint colour for kitchen-diner?

I've just had a new ikea kitchen installed in Bodbyn grey images.ikea.com/assetbank-ikea/action/viewFullSizedImage?id=6533&size=800 and have just slapped white all over the new plaster walls. I think I will probably stick with the white in the actual kitchen itself but would like to go for a colour in the dining room that is attached to it in an L-shape. It's north facing and inside the house (light has to come in through kitchen doors at the far end and a small window at the side so although not actually dark it can be a bit murky).

Any suggestions for colours that will work with the kitchen and make the most of the space?

Are your units grey?
Yellow looks amazing next to grey, so maybe a light lemon colour? With white accessories it would look nice and fresh xx

I'm not sure about yellow - will think about it but have never been a big fan. Must get the paint colour charts out and have a look.

I love that kitchen!! I know what you mean about yellow, to be fair im not that keen on it as a paint colour, but the love the bright pops of yellow like in the other kitchens in the page. (I have a grey living room with pops of yellow and blue accessories)
I think I would stick with the white, or maybe do the diner in a soft grey too, to match the units.
What colours have you got in mind? ultimately you have to live there, id just go with whatever colour you like best, grey and white is very neutral so any colour would probably work!
