Very dull subject but wondered if anyone could help. We have a new super king bed from Benson beds. I have now decided I want a head board but the one the match the bed (slate grey material) from the same company is 500 plus 40 for delivery. Much more than I want to spend. Can anyone recommend anywhere else? Thank you

Why don't you make your own? You can buy some chipboard and cover it in a fabric of your choice. If you add padding you could buy some fancy buttons to add detail. One of my friends used a curtain pole above the bed and added tabs to her complimenting pillows and hung the pillows from the pole. Prices on line seem to differ dramatically so shop around.

Buy any padded headboard and add a new cover over the top in your own choice of fabric. All you need is a staple gun.

Hi - I had same issue, got my bed form Bensons too- I got a fab one from Ebay- made in charcoal gray fabric- you choose the style, fabric. colour, size, they make them up and deliver free within 4 days- mine was under 40 and looks at least 400

Thanks for the tip mrssnodge, I have just ordered some samples. We are up for buying a new bed this weekend and taking a quick look I don't like any of the headboards available or if I do they don't come in the colour I want.

Can I ask which bed you bought and how much was it? we really need a new bed but not sure if we can fit a super king size though but I would like to!

Our was one from there bespoke collection. I think it was about £1300 which I initially thought was way to much but its lovely and will hopefully last a long long time
