Would this furniture be safe with a small child?

We've been thinking of getting this set of furniture to go in our conservatory. However, I'm a little concerned about the glass coffee table - DD is currently 12 weeks, will it be safe once she's mobile?

What do you think? Does anyone know anything about the safety standards that these things have to meet?

We used to have a glass coffee table when DS was little. It didn't look as flimsy as that one but it was fine. He cruised around it quite happily! I think it would be more dangerous with an older child as I'd worry about them falling into it.

I think you could put it near the edge of the room rather than the middle and it would be fine.

Thanks! I was worrying about falling on to it, but I would imagine that they're required to use pretty tough glass in these types of tables?

personally I wouldn't with a little one. We used to have glass tables and one broke very easily. the glass also lifted fairly easily.
