dinosaurs AND superheroes in 5yo bedroom

About to decorate my DS bedroom. He'd like both dinosaurs and superheroes and I'd like to try to do both without it looking ridiculous. Anyone know of any wall stickers that have dinosaurs that are also superheroes? Or does anyone have any other ideas of how the two can be combined without it looking like a mishmash? Failing that I might have to convince him to pick one. Interior design isn't really my forte so the simpler the better

My ds is the same and we've just moved him into his 'big boy room'. We opted for a dinosaur duvet, lampshade and lamp from John Lewis. He also then has a Lego batman duvet cover so we alternate. The lamp and lampshade are quite subtle I suppose so when we are on a batman cover I don't think it looks too odd. I've avoided stickers for the moment though DH found a magnetic board that DS has stuck up loads of dinosaur and superhero pictures on.

We've done DS's room as sky and hills - bottom half painted a grass green, top half a sky blue. Rolling hills line between the two rather than just straight gives a good effect. Then we put wall stickers on top. The hill/sky effect was very simple to do and makes a good background for most themed stickers. At the moment he has dinosaurs but pirates/knights/space/superheroes etc all work on it too.

Maybe have one wall as the dinosaur wall and another as the superhero wall?

Asda have a very nice dinosaur duvet, lampshade etc.

Thanks very much. John Lewis stuff is lovely, might have to go and have a look.

If I were you, I would go for something a bit generic in colour and then do splashes of both his themes. This can also be easily updated. Can't be doing with too much of a 'theme' anyway (eg matching lampshade, duvet cover, curtains). I would do navy and white/ beige with some superhero pictures (framed) and a dinosaur cushion or night light/ duvet cover. I don't see why he can't have a 'favourite things' room. My dd likes Hello Kitty and fairies and ballet. She has them all in various shapes or forms, with a cream background.

As a mother of 3 boys my advice would be not too invest too much time and money on making it work perfectly because dinosaurs and superheros will be old news. He'll be on to something else before you know it.

Just bought some dinosaur curtains from dunelm mill. They have lots of matching things, bedding, wall hooks, mini canvases etc

And with dunelm mill, you don't pay the earth!
