Lamp - other than mains operated?

Want to have a lamp in the hallway but don't have an outlet nearby (don't want to use extension cord because of trip hazard).
Are there any lamps that I can buy that operate sans mains electricity?

A similar question was posted a few weeks ago and someone came up with this.
You'd have to remove the bulb to recharge it elsewhere I guess but could be a good option.
