Grey walls / red sofa???

Hi, I am useless at style and colours that go together etc - so I need some advice please! If i paint the walls a light grey (Dulux dusted moss 2/3) and have dark wood flooring - can I have this sofa or one the same colour?

In an ideal world if have the furniture village Isabelle sofa in teal but DH says no!

I think it will be nice mix but for me I do not like red coulor att all with anything because it is hard colour for eyes.

You are the second post today I have seen mentioning Dusted Moss! With this red I would go a tad darker, & little greene have a new swatch of loads of shades of grey, you can order on line, i got their paint & p& p was free! and accessorise with curtains/lampshades/cushions etc in a fabric that is both red & grey tones so the contrast is co-ordinated? :)
