What colour bedroom to go with this quilt cover!

A year ago I fell in love with this quilt that my dear friend kindly brought me as a house warming gift when I moved house!

It only from asda, it's grey with a black bird print! Along with that she brought a lovely satin silver/grey pillow!

I'm now looking to decorate my bedroom but totally stuck on colours, it not a huge room.

Been keeping my eye out and came across a nice dusky light purple that seems to be teamed with grey in the shops but wondering if this will work and if so do I paint all walls this colour or just feature wall? And if just one wall what colour do I put on rest!

I think I have the same quilt cover. I also have the matching curtains. My walls are a very dusty greyish lilac and it works beautifully with the bedding.

Batcrapcrazy do you have brand/name of osint you have used so I can take a look?

A mustardy yellow.

DD2 has a white, with grey and dusky violet quilt cover that works really well.

A muted turquoise or duck egg blue, white and grey can work too. DD1 inadvertently does this because of having a grey metal bed.

Ooooh I'm loving the yellow idea might look at that, I do love lilac idea but starting to feel my whole house could end up those shades as I have grey/black and purple in lounge, yellow sounds nice and fresh though

I second a mustard yellow.
