Fabric wall hangings

How could I hang one without a curtain pole? there's one that i like one ebay but do not want to use a curtain pole

I had one mounted on a wooden frame that just hung on two nails. We also have one on a brushed brass curtain pole and I'm quite pleased with how it looks.

I like the wooden frame idea..off to ask if DH can do this

It was just an open wooden frame with a strut through the middle, so fabric didn't sag, and hanging was folded around edge. Beautiful silk sari fabrics, it looked very good.
