Marble tiles in the bathroom: comments gratefully received

I am thinking of decking my bathroom out floor to ceiling marble tiles. Will polished marble be a major health & safety hazard?! It is only me living in the place but I am a bit concerned about visitors smashing their heads open! Is honed safer? Are honed tiles better for less visibility of limescale deposits?
I kind of want polished as it's only a tiny room and I think the light reflective qualities of polished would be good.

It sounds lovely, but I'd certainly recommend taking some professional advice about cleaning, staining and how slippery it would be.
I wanted marble worktops in my kitchen and was put off by tales of etching and having to have it resealed.
A smart bathroom showroom might find you a good alternative.
