Two OTT mirrors in my lounge -- would this be a bit bling/yuck/cold?

I have a giant start burst mirror in recess on LHS of chimney breast - thinking of putting another giant floor to ceiling ornate one one back wall opposite the patio doors to capture and reflect light back into the room -- would this be a bit too much?

Sounds a great idea ! Anything that adds natural light into a room is usually a winner ! But keep the receipt, just incase you feel differently when you see it there !

Sometimes a big mirror directly facing a window can feel too bright. If it does you could arrange a few smaller ones like these
I have done this in one room with old and new mirrors and it looks fab

Oooh could follow on the theme of a collection of smaller starbursts - as in one your links...

You will capture and reflect more light into the room if the mirror is perpendicular to the window.

I think a fired earth teal eg pale powder or Teresa's green would look better in NE than marine, which is too Mediterranean for the aspect.
