Have a large south facing square living room with high ceiling opening into the conservatory. Have dulux natural wicker pained and have ordered two natural colour sofas.
Need bit of colour injection into the room
Thinking of getting colourful cushions and curtains
Not sure which colour, I love burgundy but am afraid it will be dark
Teal but my daughters bedroom is painted in this and don't want the same colour repeated again

If you go for a simple neutral curtain then have a selection of various favourite colour cushions you can swap them around to suit your mood or the seasons ! Caramels and greys look great together ! Reds and oranges , greens and blues - buy a big plastic box with a lid to keep them in and have a different look each week !

I have a very plain colour palette: white, black and grey.
In the window I put several colourful glass vases:bright turquoise, lemon and green.
The upsholstery and curtains are linen/heavy cotton and leather, so I bought several cushions in blue, green, orange, I found some that are velvet on one side and linen on the other.
I also have one big-ish modern art work (painting) on the wall that's very colourful and textured.
I have flowers everywhere, in plain glass vases.
