Decorating bedroom

Our bedroom desperately needs decorating it is average sized with 2 built in wardrobes, the type where the wall of the room is inside with wooden doors.

We normally have a friend decorate but I not sure if I should save money and do myself but I have never painted ceilings, woodwork or radiators before so don't know if these are difficult.

As I will have to empty my wardrobe with no where else really to put clothes etc other then dds room would it be easier to pay someone else or should info for it myself?

If you can afford it get a decorator. Unless you are good at decorating that is. I can do it but all the prep bores me, I get impatient and the finish is never as good as a pro.

My decorator charged me £400 including paint for a med size kitchen and lounge. Money well spent. The rooms look far nicer than when I paint.

Thanks for the reply. I'm the same I start of well and then when I get bored it becomes messy.

I think your right to get decorator I just think off the money but them like you say the room will have a better finish to it and I want a bedroom that I can really relax in and enjoy time on there in peace in a little bit of luxury with lots of nice cushions etc.
