Curtains... don't know where to start!

We are having Calke Green (F&B colour see here) but as mixed by Dulux colour match in B&Q, in our sitting room, on 2 walls, with an off-white for the other walls (it is L shaped), white woodwork and ceiling.

There are triple glass doors leading into the next room (playroom) and a single door leading into the back corridor/downstairs. There are no windows. I know that sounds weird but it isn't - the doors are in place of the windows.

So... I am going to need 25m of fabric to put curtains at the doors.

A bit of a tight budget means I need to source the curtain fabric for under £10/m.

So far so good, and that is do-able, except I have no idea what kind of curtains to go for! The overall look we are aiming for is traditional and natural, if that helps?

Any ideas?

I would take a look at Dunhelm Mill. I actually have curtains from there that would go a treat with that colour. Unfortunately they are 4 years old

I don't think I can afford to buy ready-made.

What colour are your curtains, cocolepew?

It looks like Dunelm don't do them big enough, either. The main door/window is 3m wide and needs floor-to-ceiling length.

They are cream with roses and leaves on them. The top is the exact green of your paint with cream spots on. They are ring tops. Don't Dunhelm Mill do fabric? I haven't been for a while.
What about Ikea. I have floor length denim/chambry ones from there. I think they were £15 a pair. They are tab top, I hate trying to sort 'proper' curtains out. My living room window is large so I have four of these curtains on, rather than trying to find one pair that would fit. Laura Ashley do a good fabric sale but it still might be expensive.
I think maybe Dunhelm do curtain making.

My roses/spotty curtains are probably each 2 metres wide and floor length.

I'll have another look, thanks :)

Ikea do some long ones in various colours. I had some nice linen ones from there in a natural colour.

Ebay is your friend.... Takes a lot of time searching though but there are lots of fabric stores out there with a minimal ebay shop but most have a phone number so you can request samples.

I just got ones to go with f&b ball green walls with white woodwork which might work. if you Google Stella mink eyelet curtains they come up. they do them in over 3m width.
