Can you order without opening one of their credit accounts?

Can you order and have things delivered to store? I've heard something about unknowingly opening a credit account even though you pay when you order. Would appreciate any advice.

We bought some furniture from Next a few years ago. I have a Next account but it didn't go through that. They had a 0% offer I think, so we took advantage of that. Definitely didn't have anything to do with my account. Don't know if that's any help, sorry!

From my experience whenever you order something from the next website they open you a credit account. If you then click "pay now" apparently they don't actually check your credit. I don't like it & it has actually put me off ordering from their site!

Ive ordered a lot of furniture from next in the past.

You will have a permanent customer number if you order online, even if you order clothing.

The only way to avoid this is to order at a till in a next store

Thank you both. Tried the website and abandoned it because it disturbed me! Will try ordering in store LunchLadyWannabe.
